How to manually synchronize the real-time clock on a controller

Manually synchronizing the real-time clock is only possible if no other means of time synchronization is active on the controller.

Open GI.bench and read the controller configuration.
Right-click on the GI symbol in the PC taskbar and open DeviceManager.
Right click the controller and select Advanced --> Set RTC.
In the Date and time settings window click Synchronize. This will immediately adjust the real-time clock to synchronize to UTC-0 time. GI.bench adjusts the time from there based on the PC's timezone for dashboards and project level loggers.
(Optional) To adjust the time also for logged files from a controller logger open the controller settings. In the General section check the box for Enable location details and choose the correct timezone. Write changes.
