Q.station Timezone Settings

Configuration of controller timezone settings and its effect on timestamp

There are 2 places in GI.bench where there is a timezone setting, on the PC/host and controller level. Currently it is not active on the PC/host level.

Double-click the controller (or right-click > Edit > Edit Controller)

Navigate to the General section and check the box for Enable location details. The Timezone parameter will appear below.

Changing this setting will offset the timestamp of logged files from UTC time to the timezone set e.g. EST offset by 5 hours.

If a timezone is not configured, the controller logger will log files with UTC time, but data visualized in the GI.bench dashboard will automatically be offset to the PC time.
